Adelyn loves to butter bread. She will request for butter and bread with the mind to "do-it-herself". This day I decided to give her the bowl of butter and bread so I could get something done and when I came back to check on her this is what I found...

...the butter dissapearing fast and the look of pure satisfaction on her face. I the requested she try to get more butter on the bread. She proceeded to swipe each knife full of butter once on the bread and the remains of butter left on the knife she would then lick clean. At the end I finally said she had to eat the bread she'd buttered.
