One of Adelyn's new favorite things to do is run in the house. She occasionally isn't looking and runs into the counters or walls but hey she's my child, I don't think she really had a chance in the first place. Arya loves to watch her and wishes she could join the fun.

Breakfast 7/23
Daily log entry #1
For breakfast this morning was served a bagel, juice, and fruit. Arya proud of her new teeth eagerly ripped into a bagel with cream cheese. Adelyn was as happy as sunshine as you can see, and she insisted I take a picture of myself, "Good Morning".

Morning laughs:
Adelyn: "Mom, juice is candy!:)"
***
Arya: "Mama, mama"
Adelyn in gruff voice: "Baby, you cryin' for your mama? Why you cryin' for your mama?" (Really funny!)
***
Adelyn: "I painted the doors with Jesus this morning."
Mom: "You did?"
Adelyn: "Yeah, I died and went to heaven with Jesus."

Virtuoso
These are my favorite pictures of Adelyn as of late. She had so much fun painting with water colors, she talks about painting all of the time now. "Jesus painted this towel", or "Jesus helped me to paint your bracelet" all day long. She loved to mix the water around and I caught her going to drink the water when I wasn't looking. She got all the way up to her mouth before I yelled, "NO!"
Blueberry Crumbcake
Adelyn and I make Blueberry crumb cake last week because we were learning about the letter, B. I told Adelyn to stir up the crumb mixture while I rinsed the blueberries off. I kept glancing over at her and she was doing fine. So finishing up I turned back around to take the blueberries over to the mixture and there was a perfectly thin white dusting of flour EVERYWHERE! I don't know how she did it, but we sure had fun. And as you can see the batter wasn't so bad either.
Welcome to Adelyn, the full story.
This blog is dedicated to Nana, who wants the full unedited version of life with Adelyn & Arya.
Adelyn loves to butter bread. She will request for butter and bread with the mind to "do-it-herself". This day I decided to give her the bowl of butter and bread so I could get something done and when I came back to check on her this is what I found...
(P.S. I'm not going to included the pictures on my other blog, but they were my favorite.)
